That's why they call it a "news" paper

Today, just as the Bush Administration's trickery in the Persian Gulf is being revealed (see here), i.e. there's no proof - nor logical conclusion - that the broadcast threats distributed by the Pentagon came from Iranian speedboats, the Iranians released their own video that said the activity was routine. So what is the Strib reporting? "US formally protests Iranian harassment of US warships in Persian Gulf." The Strib: A day late and still wrong.

I might add that the paper used to be derided as top-heavy with editors. Not anymore.
